On the anniversary of Troop 3 in Ambler, our troop got to go to the original meeting place of our troop from 100 years ago. The troop records revealed that a place called “Evan’s Garage” was the meeting place from 1915 until 1920. By looking at records it was found that the garage is located on Bethlehem Pike and is still standing! The owners let us come and have our weekly meeting in the original meeting place. The room probably looked the same as it did 100 years ago which made the experience even more interesting. Many thanks to the owners of the garage who allowed us to visit their property.
